Sparkle Up Your Hair Routine

Lately I have been loving jeweled headbands! Whether you are just trying to add a little sparkle to your everyday look or a dressy outfit, wearing one is a great way to change up your hair routine.

Everywhere I go I have been seeing these gorgeous headbands and while the two thicker headbands (which are from Anthropologie) I'm showing you in the pictures below are a few years old (the thinner headband is still available!!!), I have linked quite a few similar options below so that you can get this look. Whenever I wear one of these I get a ton of compliments and I think they look good with all types of hair and different hairstyles.

The Striped Tank Dress

For some reason, I always gravitate toward stripes and I don't know why! There is something about them that just makes a dress look clean. With that being said, as you have probably already guessed, today I'm sharing this short tank dress that is the perfect way to stay cool as the days become warmer and warmer.

Though I love the stripes on this dress, another main reason I love it is because the style of the upper portion of it resembles a tank top! Hence why it's called a tank dress ;) So many Spring and Summer dresses are spaghetti strap or strapless and while I like those as well, I love that this dress is different. The exact dress I have is available in limited sizes so I've listed many similar styles below!

My Makeup Must-Haves

Lately I've been trying to use some of my makeup items that I have not used in a while. I feel that sometimes when I get new items I only use those and forget about my past makeup obsessions. Therefore, today I'm sharing some of my favorite makeup products! While there are a couple newer items, the majority of these are old favorites.

  1. MAC Cremesheen Glass - Boy Bait I have been using this lipgloss for the longest time and it is a product that I have repurchased over and over. It is a light neutral beige with a hint of pink, which is one of my favorite color combos for nude glosses.
  2. Milani Color Statement Lipstick - 11 Fruit Punch This lipstick is perfect for Spring and Summer! It's a bright pink leaning a little towards the hot pink side and despite what you would think, it actually goes with a ton of outfits!
  3. E.l.f. Matte Lip Color - Natural Sometimes finding decent drugstore products can be a problem, but I really like this matte lip color. It's a mauve pink and I love pairing it with MAC's Boy Bait.
  4. Urban Decay - Naked 3 Palette This eyeshadow palette is a recent purchase, but so far I'm loving it. I'm even thinking of doing a review video and eyeshadow makeup tutorial with it on my YouTube channel!
  5. NYX Butter Gloss - Creme Brûlée NYX Butter Glosses are another great drugstore find. While I have quite a few of them, I think that this shade is the perfect sheer gloss. You can pair it with so many different lipstick colors since it's a very light nudey pink.
  6. MAC Mineralize Blush - Warm Soul The first blush I ever purchased was Warm Soul and it is still one that I find myself going back to. It's a mid-tone beige with a bit of pink and it has a beautiful gold pearl in it.
  7. Maybelline Color Tattoo - Inked in Pink I feel like some of the color tattoos come in shades that the average woman wouldn't wear on a daily basis, but this metallic pink color is definitely one that is pretty without being super bold. I love it!
  8. Milani Powder Blush - 01 Romantic Rose This blush has great pigmentation and looks so good on the skin. The only downside is that it has a kinda talky smell to it, but after you initially put it on you can't even smell it.
  9. MAC Eyeshadow - All That Glitters For an everyday color, I love this eyeshadow! It's a pinky beige with gold pearl in it. This shadow is so gorgeous and perfect for Summer!

Sundays & Sequins

While it's Spring, the last couple of days it has been a bit chilly where I live! Luckily, that allowed me to pull this super cute sweater out of my closet that I was afraid I would not be able to wear until next winter.

I love that this outfit is classic looking while still being fun with the sequined detail on the bottom of the sweater and the gorgeous statement necklace. Also, if you do not want to wear heels, you could definitely wear a black pair of flats with this look. Either way, it would be perfect for a dinner date with friends! All outfit details & links are at the bottom of this post! Check them out because this sweater is on sale and currently you can get an extra 50% off of the sale price ;)
