My Makeup Must-Haves

Lately I've been trying to use some of my makeup items that I have not used in a while. I feel that sometimes when I get new items I only use those and forget about my past makeup obsessions. Therefore, today I'm sharing some of my favorite makeup products! While there are a couple newer items, the majority of these are old favorites.

  1. MAC Cremesheen Glass - Boy Bait I have been using this lipgloss for the longest time and it is a product that I have repurchased over and over. It is a light neutral beige with a hint of pink, which is one of my favorite color combos for nude glosses.
  2. Milani Color Statement Lipstick - 11 Fruit Punch This lipstick is perfect for Spring and Summer! It's a bright pink leaning a little towards the hot pink side and despite what you would think, it actually goes with a ton of outfits!
  3. E.l.f. Matte Lip Color - Natural Sometimes finding decent drugstore products can be a problem, but I really like this matte lip color. It's a mauve pink and I love pairing it with MAC's Boy Bait.
  4. Urban Decay - Naked 3 Palette This eyeshadow palette is a recent purchase, but so far I'm loving it. I'm even thinking of doing a review video and eyeshadow makeup tutorial with it on my YouTube channel!
  5. NYX Butter Gloss - Creme Brûlée NYX Butter Glosses are another great drugstore find. While I have quite a few of them, I think that this shade is the perfect sheer gloss. You can pair it with so many different lipstick colors since it's a very light nudey pink.
  6. MAC Mineralize Blush - Warm Soul The first blush I ever purchased was Warm Soul and it is still one that I find myself going back to. It's a mid-tone beige with a bit of pink and it has a beautiful gold pearl in it.
  7. Maybelline Color Tattoo - Inked in Pink I feel like some of the color tattoos come in shades that the average woman wouldn't wear on a daily basis, but this metallic pink color is definitely one that is pretty without being super bold. I love it!
  8. Milani Powder Blush - 01 Romantic Rose This blush has great pigmentation and looks so good on the skin. The only downside is that it has a kinda talky smell to it, but after you initially put it on you can't even smell it.
  9. MAC Eyeshadow - All That Glitters For an everyday color, I love this eyeshadow! It's a pinky beige with gold pearl in it. This shadow is so gorgeous and perfect for Summer!

Sundays & Sequins

While it's Spring, the last couple of days it has been a bit chilly where I live! Luckily, that allowed me to pull this super cute sweater out of my closet that I was afraid I would not be able to wear until next winter.

I love that this outfit is classic looking while still being fun with the sequined detail on the bottom of the sweater and the gorgeous statement necklace. Also, if you do not want to wear heels, you could definitely wear a black pair of flats with this look. Either way, it would be perfect for a dinner date with friends! All outfit details & links are at the bottom of this post! Check them out because this sweater is on sale and currently you can get an extra 50% off of the sale price ;)

Currently Craving

Currently Craving

Today I was thinking about all the cute items I have seen while out and about that I would love to have in my wardrobe/makeup drawer & I wanted to share them here with you all! Take a look at the list below to learn more about the items I'm craving & some of my thoughts on them! {click links to find out where I found these items!}

  1. Essie Nail Polish "In the Cab-ana" - When I saw this color, I was immediately drawn to it! I feel like it is the perfect shade for summer!
  2. Weekend Warrior Graphic Tee - I'm sure many of you, like me, are always counting down the number of days until Friday so that the weekend can begin! This tee would look perfect with a pair of boyfriend jeans!
  3. Beaded Tassel Bracelets - I have been seeing tassels everywhere I go lately and definitely think that wearing tassels is a current trend that looks super cute with any Spring outfit. I'm in love with the colors of these ones!
  4. Michael Michael Kors Selma Medium Saffiano Leather Satchel -  This bag is a piece that, in my opinion, is truly timeless! I love how simple it is with just the saffiano leather and the gold hardware.
  5. Mirrored Aviators - Another trend that I have been seeing lately is color mirrored aviators. While I do not feel like splurging on an expensive pair of Ray-Bans that are mirrored, these mint/blue ones are only $6.99, making it affordable to be trendy while not breaking the bank.
  6. Benefit Roller Lash - I've heard some really good things about this mascara from other YouTube beauty gurus. Plus, am I the only one who thinks the packaging is adorable?!
  7. J Crew Boyfriend Jeans - Though these jeans are a bit more expensive, I think that a pair of boyfriend jeans is a staple that should be in everyone's wardrobe! I love the lighter wash of this pair.
Hope you found this helpful!

Calling all my Lilly Lovers...

As I'm sure many of you know, Lilly Pulitzer just came out with an affordable line for Target that is pretty much completely sold out since it hit stores yesterday! Luckily, while I didn't get any pieces from the line, I found a strapless dress that, I think, looks very Lilly.

This dress is light weight and super comfortable. I definitely think that it can be dressed up or down depending on what occasion you are wearing it for. Also, I am obsessed with this statement necklace that is less than $14!! You can shop this look and find the outfit details below.

Just Golden

Hi lovelies! It's finally Friday and today I'm sharing a pair of sandals that I'm currently obsessed with!

After seeing these faux leather and glitter ankle strap sandals on a few different women the past couple of weeks, I started searching for them online and found them on Target's website! Of course, I had to buy them! I love that these sandals are a simple style because it really allows the glitter band to stand out. After only having them a few days, I can definitely tell that I am going to be wearing these a ton the rest of the Spring and throughout Summer. {link to the shoes below pictures}

Bright White

After a few years of refusing to wear white pants because I thought that they weren't flattering on me, I finally took the plunge and decided to wear them yesterday! Honestly, I don't know why I left these on the hanger for such a long time! White pants are so cute in the Spring and I am definitely going to wear them more often. You can pair them with so many things!

For this look, I wore a comfy pink and white linen shirt and a super pretty infinity scarf that I picked up from Nordstrom BP. for only $8.98!! Then I added grey booties, a white watch, and some other silver bracelets. My purse is an old find, but I've seen quite a few faux ostrich skin purses similar to mine lately. Also, for a jean jacket like the one I have, I suggest looking at Forever 21! Right now I am obsessed with wearing stylish outfits that are comfy and casual and this look definitely achieved that! You can shop this outfit below.

Timeless Black & White

While having an LBD (little black dress) is important, when I slipped on this dress, I realized that a black and white striped dress is another clothing item that everyone should consider having in their wardrobe.

What I love about this dress is that it has a timeless look to it despite having slits to the mid-thigh on both sides. To add to this outfit, I wore accessories that I also consider to be classic, including Ray-Ban aviators, white leather sandals, and a fedora. Also, I have been loving the BaubleBar necklace I am wearing in this look! All outfit details are at the bottom of this post!

Have a wonderful day! It's almost Friday!!
