Can you believe that Christmas is on Friday?! It seems like December has just flown by and boom here we are only a few days away from the big day! Despite the holiday being so close, I know many are still doing last minute shopping. No judgement! In fact, the next few days I'm going to be sharing last minute ideas to help make things a little easier for those who are still shopping. Today I wanted to focus on the men in your life. It can be SUPER difficult to find them stuff. Sometimes I even think it's harder to buy a guy a gift than a girl, even though guys are supposed to be low maintenance...lol. I think the guy in your life would love these chukka boots and a classic duffle bag is something that's always handy. Then of course, you can never go wrong with a nice watch or wallet. Stocking Stuffer Ideas for Her

While the bigger gifts you receive for the holidays can be pretty exciting, growing up, I always loved opening my stocking stuffers! There is something so fun about the smaller gifts and many of times I received unique little items I wouldn't have expected. It seems as though many people get the bigger Christmas items crossed off their list, but them panic trying to find the stocking stuffers, so this year, I wanted to share some ideas that would be perfect for women. I honestly think this anti-stress coloring book is such a cool gift & this lipgloss...lets just say its amazing!! Want to give something trendy? Faux fur pompom bag charms are definitely in style. Since it's the time of year where many of us are stressing over finding the perfect gifts for all the loved ones in our lives, I'm hoping I can ease some of your burden this year with a series of gift guide posts! For this first gift guide I'm sharing, I wanted to focus on all things beauty (my fave!!). I'm sure many of you get into the habit of repurchasing the same makeup items all the time. While this is totally acceptable, I think the holidays are a great time to give someone (or maybe treat yo'self to) beauty-related items that they normally wouldn't purchase for themselves. Last year for Christmas I received the Clarisonic Mia 2 and I have been loving it all year long! It makes for an amazing gift that's totally unexpected. If you want to spend a little less, you could give a sparkly nail polish like this one (it would look cute gifted in a cello bag with a ribbon) or you could pick up the Beautyblender, which is one of my holy grail products! Whatever you end up choosing, I'm sure it will be perfect! It really is the thought that counts!

Thanksgiving Hostess Gift Ideas

While everyone is already talking about holiday gifts and decorations, all that's on my mind is Thanksgiving! While I try to be thankful everyday, I think it's good that we celebrate a holiday that reminds us of all we have to be grateful for. Plus, who doesn't love eating yummy food in the company of family and friends?! Anyways, when I realized that Thanksgiving is only a week away, I decided it would be perfect to share some of my hostess gift ideas since many people go to others' homes to celebrate. 

I think that your hostess would love any of these gifts! This pumpkin souffle candle smells heavenly   and the See's Candies seasonal pie truffles sound so good!! I also love giving little ring dishes like this one as hostess gifts. You could even pair it with something else like these colorful napkins (which I would use as decorative towels) and put them in a cello bag tied with raffia. Hello lovelies!! Can you believe we are already almost halfway through November...like what?! Someone posted on Instagram yesterday that there are only 6 more Saturdays until Christmas and I'm kind of freaking out even though I'm one who puts off shopping until after Thanksgiving. Does that make me totally not in the 21st century? I just think we need to focus on one holiday at a time and I love Thanksgiving. Anyways, for those of you that are starting your shopping or are on the look out for some cute holiday pieces to wear to upcoming parties and gatherings, I've picked out some items that I think would be super cute. Now I know that I picked out two dresses here and many of you  experience chilly weather for the next few months, but I love wearing dresses for the holidays. Just style  them with a bunch of other layers and you're good to go! I'm currently obsessing over these heels and I think they would look amazing with this black turtleneck dress and a bold wine lip. It doesn't count as Christmas shopping if I go buy myself some of these for holiday events coming up...right??

Today I have to confess that I haven't been to the mall in over a month...like what the heck?! There just isn't enough hours in the day! Thank goodness for the internet & online shopping ~ insert praise hand emoji here lol. 

I've been eyeing black lace up flats for months because they seem to be everywhere and I finally found these ones that I'm obsessed with. I don't know what it is about adding some cords to black flats that pulls me in, but I just think they are the cutest things! Totally Fall appropriate! I'm picturing them with the camel-colored skirt and fitted tweed jacket! 

Now what about this pom pom bag charm! Like...yes please!! I will take one for every bag I own. Having accessories for your accessories is totally acceptable right?!

Summer may not be "officially" over, but with school having started back up, in my book it's basically Fall! With that being said, all I can think about is the Fall color palette. I just love neutrals and it's a plus that my brown hair looks wonderful with taupes & dark greens. I am in LOVE with this  flared dress {under $35!!} and the Chloe & Isabel wrap bracelet is the perfect way to add a pop of color and some bling to an outfit! I seriously want everything I'm sharing...minus the bill though ;) I may just have to stick with purchasing a couple of these for now! What are your Fall picks that you have your eye on?! Happy FriYAY everyone!! Is anyone else as stoked as I am for a three day weekend?! This week has seriously dragged on so I'm ready to get some extra sleep and of course hit up the end-of-summer sales going on! Today I'm sharing all my favorites from the Nordstrom End-of-Summer Clearance sale, but I tried to pick out items that you can transition into Fall with! Mixing prints is a huge trend this season and so is the color red so of course I gravitated towards those items, all of which I have linked above! Which of the pieces do you like best?! Back to School Neutrals

As much as I'd love to say buy up all those cute jeans & tall boots for back to school, unfortunately the weather outside is not agreeing! Though you still may need to pick up a couple of those items before the stores start bringing in all the winter attire, today I'm sharing my back to school picks that are Fall appropriate (due to their coloring), but functional for the hot months of August through October...or November if you live in the Golden State. The majority of these items are on the affordable side & to get more bang for your buck, my main tip is to try to stick to plain pieces such as neutral colored tees & skirts. That way you can take those pieces and create a variety of looks from them by pairing them with fun accessories such as the mirrored sunglasses & yellow tassel earrings. In my opinion, it's a lot easier to create looks when you have neutral items as the base!

Get a Jump On 4th of July

Summer 2015 Trends

Things are crazy right now with this week being the last one of my Spring semester. Luckily, I found a little time to share with you all the trends that I think will be huge this Summer! These are styles that I have seen everywhere I've been recently and all are super Summer appropriate! I am definitely going to be picking up some of these items and partaking in these trends!! 1. Pineapple Tote Bags - Pineapples are seriously all over the place right now! I've seen them on shirts, purses, even shorts! I am loving this fruity trend ;)
2. Retro Cat Eye Sunglasses - I don't know what it is about these glasses, but I'm obsessed! How cute would these be with a bathing suit?! 
3. Bright Green/Mint Nail Polish - Bright colored polish is always easier to get away with in the Summer! It would be so cute for a tropical getaway.
4. Kendra Scott Earrings - Anything Kendra Scott is totally in right now! The pop of color is perfect for Summer!
5. Tassel Bracelets - Out of all these trends, this is the one I have been seeing the most. From necklaces to earrings to bracelets, so many things have tassels on them right now. 
6. Pointed Toe Flats - Pointed shoes just seem to spice up any outfit you pair them with!

Today I was thinking about all the cute items I have seen while out and about that I would love to have in my wardrobe/makeup drawer & I wanted to share them here with you all! 1. Essie Nail Polish "In the Cab-ana" - When I saw this color, I was immediately drawn to it! I feel like it is the perfect shade for summer!
2. Weekend Warrior Graphic Tee - I'm sure many of you, like me, are always counting down the number of days until Friday so that the weekend can begin! This tee would look perfect with a pair of boyfriend jeans!
3. Beaded Tassel Bracelets - I have been seeing tassels everywhere I go lately and definitely think that wearing tassels is a current trend that looks super cute with any Spring outfit. I'm in love with the colors of these ones!
4. Michael Michael Kors Selma Medium Saffiano Leather Satchel -  This bag is a piece that, in my opinion, is truly timeless! I love how simple it is with just the saffiano leather and the gold hardware. 
5. Mirrored Aviators - Another trend that I have been seeing lately is color mirrored aviators. While I do not feel like splurging on an expensive pair of Ray-Bans that are mirrored, these mint/blue ones are only $6.99, making it affordable to be trendy while not breaking the bank. 
6. Benefit Roller Lash - I've heard some really good things about this mascara from other YouTube beauty gurus. Plus, am I the only one who thinks the packaging is adorable?!
7. J Crew Boyfriend Jeans - Though these jeans are a bit more expensive, I think that a pair of boyfriend jeans is a staple that should be in everyone's wardrobe! I love the lighter wash of this pair.
