While the bigger gifts you receive for the holidays can be pretty exciting, growing up, I always loved opening my stocking stuffers! There is something so fun about the smaller gifts and many of times I received unique little items I wouldn't have expected. It seems as though many people get the bigger Christmas items crossed off their list, but them panic trying to find the stocking stuffers, so this year, I wanted to share some ideas that would be perfect for women. I honestly think this anti-stress coloring book is such a cool gift & this lipgloss...lets just say its amazing!! Want to give something trendy? Faux fur pompom bag charms are definitely in style. I've been seeing them EVERYWHERE I go while out doing my Christmas shopping and well, I ended up purchasing one for myself! Do you have any good stocking stuffer ideas?

The Perfect Plaid

I'm sure we can all relate to having WAY too many scarves in our closet (or is it just me?!). I have so many different ones of various textures, prints, fabrics; you name it, I probably have it! With that being said, the last thing I need to buy is another scarf, but when I was gifted this one over the Thanksgiving holiday, I fell in love!

Plaid scarves can be hard because they often have colors in them that don't go with many items in your wardrobe, so when I laid my eyes on this one, I knew it was perfect! Camel, black, and white are colors that go with so many of my clothing items because all three are neutral colors (my fave!!). With this perfect plaid scarf as my inspiration piece, I styled this beautiful neutral look that is definitely going to be one of my go-to outfits!

With the scarf making a statement itself, I decided to keep the rest of the look simple, pairing some of my favorite basics with it such as these Hudson jeans and my beloved pointy flats! The shirt is actually old, but I'm sure every girl has a basic cream top in their closet that would work just as well. Then for a pop of color amongst this very neutral palette, I put on my FAVORITE red lipstick that's actually from the drugstore! Yay for affordable makeup!

The Mountains are Calling...

If I'm being completely honest, so many Fall clothing items end up looking the same! I'm sure you have noticed this as well while walking through your local shops. While there are different styles and patterns, somehow they all just blend together and as a result, I'm always on the look out for something that is super cute & unique, something you wouldn't find in a store.

With that being said, it caught my attention when I read the words "raw hem dress" while scrolling through the Cheerful Chic Boutique website. Then when I saw what the item looked like, once again I was in love. I never used to be a huge fan of online shopping, but I must say that this boutique has changed my view. If you head over to their site and see how many chic items they have, you will understand why I conformed to being a supporter of online shopping.

For this look, I actually wore the dress as a tunic. I love the combo of the raw edges of the top with the coated black pants. It's soft, but edgy. As for shoes, I wore my favorite black booties and rolled up my pants so you could really see the shoes. For jewelry, I kept it simple with a Baublebar tassel necklace, a gold bangle & a super cool ring from Rocksbox. If you haven't tried Rocksbox yet, you can try a month free with the code beautybykendalllynnxoxo (read more about it here).

As a side note, looking at all the beautiful scenery in the back of these photos is making me want to go back to the mountains really soon. It's just so beautiful up there!

Summer Stripes

Somehow stripes have yet again returned to my blog...I know, not a shocker there! I just love striped tops and dresses, what can I say?! What makes this dress different though is that the stripes are very small and it is actually an A-line style. Whether running errands or throwing this on for a pool party, I already know that this dress is going to be a piece that I will wear a ton this Summer.

It's just one of those dresses that is so flattering yet simple and to add to it, I changed things up and actually wore silver jewelry! I feel like lately I've been wearing gold jewelry so much even though I own a ton more silver jewelry than gold...anyone else have this problem or is it just me? Anyways, if you are interested in checking out these cute clothing items, they will all be linked below as usual!
