Oh What A Year! 2015!

And just like that 2015 was over! Isn't it crazy how fast the year went by!

This year has honestly been one of the most challenging yet rewarding years! For those of you who don't know, I'm a full-time college student (studying business administration with an emphasis in marketing and minor in public relations) in addition to being a blogger and YouTuber. These past two semesters and more specifically this past Fall 2015 semester was honestly the hardest semester of college I've experienced in regards to the academic classes I took and coursework that went with them. At times it was very challenging to juggle school, blogging, YouTubing, and having a social life, but I made it through and now I can honestly say that it was so worth it.

The past year my blog and YouTube channel have grown so much and everyday I'm thankful for the opportunities that they have provided me. I have met so many amazing women bloggers and worked with so many great companies over the course of 2015, with Dooney and Bourke being the highlight. A year ago I could never have dreamed of working with such a well-known and respected company yet here I am now having done it. I feel so incredibly blessed and I cannot wait to see what 2016 holds. Thank you to everyone who reads and follows my blog as well as my other social media. It is because of you that I have remained encouraged to continue pursuing what I love.

Since this year is coming to a close, below is a roundup of my favorite posts from 2015!

There are some big changes coming in 2016 so stay tuned!

New Year's Eve Makeup Tutorial

I'm all about glitz and glam so NYE is basically the best night! While dressing up in something sparkly is practically essential, I love doing a fun makeup look as well! For a totally glittery look, watch the video below!

Happy NYE!!

Night Out - NYE Outfit

Can you believe it's New Year's Eve?! Being the total last minute girl I am, I'm still figuring out my plans for tonight, but for those of you planning on going out I wanted to give you some outfit inspiration.

In my book, you can never go wrong with an LBD (little black dress), but since it's NYE I thought some sparkle was necessary too. It's practically mandatory right?! These heels are my prized possessions! Since I'm totally into all things glam and sparkly I'm sure you can understand why!!

While you could just stick with an LBD and sparkly shoes, I went a step further and added a cozy blanket scarf. The weather has been cold lately so I wanted a layer to put on that was stylish without covering up most of the dress. Then I went for more texture and chose to pair my black fur clutch with the look!

A Little Sparkle - NYE Outfit

Wohooo! It's almost a new year! Can you believe it?! I honestly don't know where 2015 went! Before we jump on into 2016 though, we have one big celebration to get through...NEW YEAR'S EVE!!

As I was thinking about NYE today, I realized that it should be one of my favorite nights of the year! It's the perfect excuse to dress up & be super glam without being judged. Bring on the sequins and everything that sparkles!!

For this look, I started with a sequined top (pink of course!) and then paired it with my black midi skirt that you previously saw in this post during the holidays. I love finding new ways to style pieces I already own! Then to add some more sparkle I put on a statement necklace that I received in my latest Rocksbox! It's NYE, why not wear a lot of bling?!

Crushin' on Blush

Isn't it funny how our fashion taste changes over time?! I find myself wearing things now that I previously couldn't have imagined myself even trying on!

Three years ago the thought of rocking a turtleneck wouldn't have crossed my mind, it was an automatic no accompanied with an eye roll. Fast forward a few years and here I am, doing what I never thought I would, but I must say I'm loving it! Being the neutral girl I am, I knew I had to pair another soft pretty color with the oatmeal turtleneck and lets be real, blush is the perfect neutral! With this in mind, I put on a cozy blush fringe vest and then for a little more blush, I slipped on my favorite pointed flats to create a look that is TOTALLY me!
